Diane's and Cindi's Visit

31 March - 6 April 2004

Out-and-About in London

Getting around in London may require a wee bit of Sherlock Holmes' deductive reasoning.

A quick descent on the station's escalator to the platform...to catch the Underground (the Tube).

We all got off at St. John's Wood station, headed for Abbey Road.

Here's the popular road sign across the street from the Apple Records studio.

A Boomer's trip to London is nothing without stroll across the famous Abbey Road crosswalk.  I caught these four young ladies on our camera; Judi and I took took pictures of Diane's and Cindi's walk with their cameras...web pictures may follow.

After our visit to Abbey Road, we went to Finchley Road to pick up a Take-away lunch (spicy Portuguese chicken pitas) from Nando's, and then on to Speakers' Corner (Hyde Park) for some Sunday entertainment and a picnic lunch.
